We’ve secured a beautiful property in St Kilda and, thanks to generous support of a local couple and pro-bono partners, we’re transforming the property into a safe and supportive place for young women and gender diverse people leaving care.

Inside, there will be 14 fully self-contained studio apartments – each one a space to feel at home, with dignity and independence.

One apartment will be reserved for on-site staff, therapies, and meetings, ensuring support is always close at hand. The other 14 studios will provide affordable, long-term housing.

This means our young people can put down roots, build stability, and look ahead with confidence.

Adapted Support, Built on Experience

We’ve learned so much from Cocoon #1, and this new St Kilda home builds on that model. Each resident will have targeted support, tailored to their needs, through our partnership network.

It’s more than bricks and mortar – it’s about creating an environment where young people feel safe, connected, and truly at home.
