Homeless to a Home (H2H) program is a Victorian Government initiative providing pathways into safe, secure, and sustainable medium and long-term housing.

H2H helped 1,845 households residing in emergency accommodations during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Michael, who has been living on the streets for the past 15 to 20 years, said:

“To have safe and permanent housing. To feel safe and secure. I can’t think of enough nice words.

I’ve had so much great help from the program and my support worker, Kate, who is such a lovely human. She has been a lifesaver.

I have nothing but praise. I’m so happy with everything. Everyone’s attitude and behaviour have been amazing.

The whole system has treated me nicely like a human being.”

Bridge It is one of Victoria’s fourteen partners who deliver the support.

We work alongside peer organisations Star Health and Southport Community Housing Group to provide homes and support services.

Our collective work makes a massive difference in people’s lives.
